From Alfredton: Head northeast on Rte52 approx. 23.8kms toward Tiraumea. At Tiraumea turn left on to Haunui Road. From Pongaroa: Head southwest on Route 52 approx 25 kms to Tiraumea. Turn right onto Haunui road ( just past the Tiraumea Hall) Travel approx. 3.06kms to Backpacker lodge on the right. You may choose a powered site by the little pump shed in the paddock or park anywhere else for unpowered site. Dump station is located at the front corner of the lodge at the south end of the building. Restrictions: Dogs must be on leads at all times.

From SH1/Amberley: Turn onto Amberley Beach Rd, travel approx. 4.4kms then turn onto Grierson Ave which turns left to become Golf Links Rd. Continue over one lane bridge; enter through gate to parking area on left; before entering main carpark; signposted. Additional Information: Beach, walks, cycling. Restrictions: Bar facilities only available Wed 3:30pm to 6pm & Sat Club Day; 3:30pm to 7pm. Dogs must be on leads at all times; NO dogs allowed on golf course.

From Nelson: Travel on SH6 toward Tahunanui/Murchison. Turn right onto Parkers Rd then turn left onto Pascoe St. Turn left onto Quarantine Rd (next to World of Wearable Arts). Located 1km from Nelson Airport; destination is on left. Restrictions: Max. 1 night stay only. Max. 5 vehicles at one time; park in northeast corner. Park from 6pm to 9am only.

Turn left onto Acacia Bay Rd; site approx. 1.4kms on left.Additional Information: Beach access, nestled between wild pine forest, but we have a very sunny property for solar charging. Proximity to Taupo, dairy & takeaways. Property on lake side (left) situated right before campground (on right.)Restrictions: Site not level in all places, may need levellers. Driveway leading to lake is sloped. Booking required. Check in & out; 8am - 8pm. Max 3 nights stay. MUST clean up pets. This is ancestral land and we ask that you please continue to respect it as such.  NO Fires during fire restrictions (December -March.)
