To celebrate the fantastic relationship the Tararua District has with the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association we are hosting a 3 day tournament.
This opportunity is for all NZMCA members who love playing golf to participate while staying on-site in their self contained vehicles. For $160 p/p you can enjoy three days of golf with fellow members, delicious BBQ meal & parking at three golf courses!
Held over 3 days and in 3 distinct beautiful locations in the Tararua District, participants will be treated to courses that will even challenge a golf veteran. To qualify for this event, all you require is an official registered handicap and a NZMCA membership number.
Locations:
- Friday 7 Febraury 2025 - Eketahuna Golf Club
- Saturday 8 February 2025 - Pahiatua Golf Club
- Sunday 9 February 2025 - Dannevirke Golf Club
Prizegiving will be held after the last event.
Entry Fee:
$160 per person entry fee covers green fees, BBQ and 3 nights parking at all golf course locations.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
Compete against other golfing NZMCA members and stay on-site!
The Eketahuna Golf Club, the Dannevirke Golf Club and the Pahiatua Golf Club are all offering overnight parking for Self Contained Motorhome & Caravans for the duration of the tournament. You will need to be a registered participant in the competition.
How much does the parking cost?
Parking is included in the entry fee. Non-golfers are required to pay a fee per person for the BBQ evening meal. If you would like to arrive early you are able to stay for 2 days before the tournament, and two days after it finishes (these days before and after are free and do not include BBQ meals).
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed but not on the golf course. They must be on a leash and owners to pick up after them. Please note that dogs are not permitted at Eketahuna Golf Course but call Carole for other options 0800 TARARUA (827 278).
