Format
Men ~ Three rounds of Strokeplay, gross / nett / Stableford (two divisions)
Ladies ~ Three rounds of Strokeplay, gross / nett / Stableford (divisions depend on entries)
PROGRAMME
Wednesday 5th February ~ First round play starts from 8:30am.
Thursday 6th February ~ Play commences from 8:30am. There is a social hour and meal from 5pm.
Friday 7th February ~ Play commences from 8:00am with prize-giving at approximately 3pm
General Information
- Entry fee for both men and ladies is $100
- Thursday evening meal for each player is included in the entry fee. Nonplayers are most welcome to join us for the meal, please indicate this when you enter and add $25 for each extra person
- Twos and nearest pin each day, included in the entry fee
- First Hole in One $500 ~ Sponsored by Braemar Trust
- Fully self-contained mobile homes may park at the golf club (nonpowered sites). Fees apply, $15 per night, per home (include with entry)
- A free practice round can be played on Tuesday
- Carts are available for hire at $40 per round. Include payment with entry (subject to availability and on a first come first served basis)
- Catering is available each day of the tournament
- Cold drinks and sandwiches available in clubhouse
- Our main sponsor, Taumarunui Property Brokers, will provide nibbles and chilled water each tournament day

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Open to members of affiliated clubs who are aged 50 years and over for men and women
2. Entries close Wednesday 29th January 2025
3. Entry fee of $100 (plus any extras) must be paid upon entry
4. The rules shall be those of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews except as varied by the local rules of the Taumarunui Golf Club
5. Any protest must be lodged in writing with the Committee within 30 minutes of completion of a round. The decision of the Committee is final
6. The Committee reserves the right to alter the programme or times either before or after play commences for whatever reason
7. The Committee shall have the power to refuse the entry of any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal
8. All competitors must play at the times set down on the starting sheets
9. No competitor may receive more than one main prize
10. Entries must be made on the official entry form or a copy thereof
11. The maximum handicap for men shall be 37 and 41 for ladies
Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking
Tournament participants who plan on staying in their fully self-contained motorhome or caravan are welcome to arrive at Taumarunui Golf Club - 165 Golf Road, Taumarunui on Tuesday 4th February from 4pm and leave shortly after the end of the tournament on the 7th February
$15 per site for parking for tournament participants. We ask that golfers please place rubbish in bins provided. Parking area will be well signposted - fenced area on right as you enter opposite the club house. No need to report on arrival - please follow directions on signage.
