The 8th Manawatu Tattoo features the New Zealand Army Band, Suzanne Prentice and Carl Doy.

This action packed show will take place inside the Manfeild Stadium in Feilding on Sunday 15th Sept at 2pm and will celebrate the founding of the district of Feilding 150 years ago.

Included in the cast of around 200 are local, national and international performers from Manawatu pipe and brass bands, Hato Paora College and Bulls Schools, Highland and Scottish Country Dancers, Broadway United Marching, Military Vintage Vehicles and much more.

The New Zealand Army BandThe NZ Army Band has evolved into a unique entertainment unit performing in a wide variety of settings. The incorporation of a rhythm section and vocalists in the 1970’s enabled the band to broaden its repertoire to include swing, jazz, pop and rock. This has seen the band develop as the primary link between New Zealand’s Army and the civilian population, as well as becoming a major recruiting tool for the New Zealand Defence Force.

She has shared her mellow yet powerful Voice throughout the world in performances with many of the world’s stars, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, Morecambe & Wise, Kenny Rogers, The Beach Boys, Michael Barrymore, and Julio Iglesias to name only a few. Suzanne still travels the world doing what she does best, entertain her beloved audience.
