Our annual Buller Gorge Festival features some of New Zealand’s top country music artists.

Starting with walk ups on Friday morning at 10.00am along with occasional appearances from featured artists the show will run continuously until approximately 4.30pm.

Saturday will follow a similar pattern from 10.00am until approximately 4.30pm at which time there will be a break until the evening showcase starting at 7.00pm The showcase will feature a number of award winning artists and in keeping with past years will be a night to remember.

Beginning 10.00am Sunday with walk ups the festival programme will conclude with a finale of selected walk up artists and featured artists to conclude the event. Bring chord charts.

After the conclusion of the programme each day and on Thursday evening we habitually let our hair down with a jam session or sessions enabling anyone to express themselves in their own style with a band of their peers.

Please bring your own seat/ camp chair with a mat to place it on if possible as the floor is highly polished. No stiletto heels.

EVENT ADMISSION: 

  • $10.00 per day per person.
  • Saturday showcase $25.00.
  • Weekend pass $45.00 (includes the whole programme including the showcase).    

Open to EVERYONE - Right of admission reserved.

Certified Self Contained Motorcaravan Parking

Overnight parking for CSC vehicles will be available onsite for the duration of the festival

  • Location: Murchison Sport, Recreation and Cultural Centre
  • Arrival: From Thursday 6 February (entry only from Hampton Street)
  • Departure: By Monday 10 February 
  • Cost: $5 per person per day. Cash on arrival. This charge is additional to venue charges
  • Pets: Pets are welcome in the parking area and are the owner's responsibility. They must be on leads and must be picked up after. No pets are allowed in the venue.
