APS CLASSIC - Motorcycle Racing Festival

New Zealand's largest and longest-running Classic Motorcycle Racing Festival is back at Feilding's Manfeild circuit Chris Amon for 2025. 

For over 45 years the New Zealand Classic Motorcycle Racing Register's annual 'Festival' race meeting has been the premier event for Classic and Post-Classic motorcycle racing in New Zealand.

With its unique 'open pits' set up the event has built a reputation for allowing visitors to not only see great bikes being raced hard on track, but also to get close up to the machines and riders between races.

What's more, with ample space for camping in the Manfeild showgrounds area, the 'Festival' allows competitors and visitors alike to 'Make a weekend of it' and camp onsite to be part of the atmosphere.

This year, as well as the usual Championship races, the event will play host to 10 special new New Zealand Classic TT Trophy Races where riders will compete for National Classic Titles. 

Nowhere else will you see some of New Zealand's most successful riders and Champions such as Andrew Stroud and Dennis Charlotte compete in the morning on a vintage bike from the 1920's, and the same day take to the track on a Britten or a Macintosh Suzuki!

The perfect day trip or overnight destination for car or bike clubs - or just a bunch of mates.

The Manfeild circuit has LOADS of parking and there are great roads heading into the Manuwatu from all directions North, South, East and West. We welcome other vehicle enthusiasts to bring their passion for cars, bikes, traction engines - whatever - and make the most of a day or two out enjoying the vehicles we all love.

All overnighting is for event participants or spectators only

• It is a requirement to book a site prior to your arrival (click the 'Book a site' button below) - if the preferred event is not listed on the booking website, please contact us directly.
• There are no showers or toilets available for use, campers need to be equipped for the length of stay
• Access to Manfeild is via 59 South Street, Feilding
• There is a pre-payment service available. There is an abundance of non-powered sites. Powered sites will be on a first-in first-served basis
• All overnighters are to take away their rubbish when they leave the venue
• No dogs
• Personal property safety is at your own risk. Manfeild Park Trust will not be responsible for any losses during your stay
• Please respect your fellow overnighters and keep noise to a minimum
• It is recommended that you bring blocks as not all sites are level
• Main vehicle access gates are locked at approximately 9.00pm till approximately 6.30am, pedestrian access is available outside these hours

Charges

• Prices (GST inclusive) are per person, per site, per night:
• Non-powered site: $10.00
• Powered site: $15.00 
• One self-contained motorhome / caravan per site (you may be asked to remove your vehicle from your caravan).

Payment

• All overnighting charges must be settled on arrival with Manfeild Park Trust or prior 
• Please check in on arrival at the Manfeild Office (located at D6 on the below map).  Please note, our office hours are Monday - Friday - 8:30am - 4.30pm (pre-payment is preferred)
• Credit Card/internet banking facilities are available for payment when booking online
• Upon payment, Manfeild Park Trust will provide you with a display pass that must be displayed on your motorhome/caravan at all times whilst onsite
